Quick Segmentation
====================

This mode is focused on image segmentation, without the data management of the standard :ref:`project-based workflow<project>`.

It contains the same :ref:`segmentation actions<annotation>` as the standard workflow, but does not require creating a project or defining export options.

To open an image, click on the **Load** button in the top left or drag and drop the file/folder into the window.

After segmenting, the created label map can be saved by clicking on the **Save** button in the top left and selecting the target format.
The label map will be exported as an unsigned byte dataset with the same size and resolution as the original input image.

Command Line
------------

The Quick Segmentation mode can also be started from the command line using the ``annotate`` subcommand. Please run ``ImFusionLabels annotate --help`` for a list of options.
